Licensing for PDQ products are not that expensive.we only have 1 Domain admin that uses it to control over 12,000 machines. Inventory software have many uses, like mentioned by Patrick for use of detecting software versions, MS Win10 version (to see if machines are using 1903 or 1909 already), matching known vulnerable software versions to current inventory (Like Acrobat reader etc).ģ.
If you do not use it at all.even $1 is too expensive.or even if the license is free (but you end up using $$$.like power in terms of RAM & CPU and/or storage).Ģ. Do we need to keep PDQ inventory for PDQ deploy to work correctly? I don't really use inventory to it's fullest and for the price, we're not hurting for money, I'm inclined to keep it.ĭoes anyone have any suggestions I could bring to my boss about or investigate why we should keep it?ġ. Both are setup in our environment and it's coming up for renewal time.
